3/4 standing view of Catherine Granger Eastman, wife of Edward Eastman. She wears a hoop skirt and rests her hand on a chair. Same as image #p2000.1.22 Catherine Granger was born in Randoph, Vermont on 4-25-1814 and married Edward Eastman June 3, 1841. They came west in 1846, first to Dodge County, Wisconsin and then to Oshkosh the same year. Her husband was the first mayor and was a state representative. They had four known children together: Stepson: George Eastman; Sarah T. Eastman Bailey; Lucas M. Eastman; Jennie K. Eastman Ferguson. She died June 18, 1897. |
