This original piece from the Hawaiian Quilt Collection uses the traditional Hawaiian method of echo quilting to depict the native Hawaiian flowers of plumeria, gardenia, jasmine and anthurium. Tickets can be purchased from the museum store.

A bloom of contemporary quilts adds color and pizzazz to museum galleries!

An invitational exhibit featuring original selections from thirty-six local and state quilters. More than 80 contemporary art quilts apply modern quilting techniques to create embellished patterns and original designs. Modern quilts are interspersed with historic pieced items from the Oshkosh Public Museum’s collection that highlight the many applications of quilt art. This new spin on an old tradition gives a new perspective on quilting and will leave you saying This is Not Your Grandmother’s Quilt.
