Oshkosh Public Museum Riverside Cemetery Tours

Special Civil War Tours of Riverside Cemetery Start in June 2008



The museum begins a new tour focusing on Oshkosh residents in the Civil War, starting in June 2008. You’ll be introduced to a general, men who enlisted at the age of 60, former slaves and prisoners of war, a woman who worked as a nurse, an abolitionist, and men who fought and died to save the Union. The museum will continue its regular cemetery tours in addition to the Civil War themes.

One more way to enjoy the summer, learn about Riverside Cemetery, and support the museum — all at the same time!
