A group of citizen waits for the arrival of the draftees from Neenah and Menasha, Wisconsin. It was to stop at Oshkosh to pick up young men from the Oshkosh area on there way to boot camp. Some of the people at the far end of the photo were the soon to be soldiers waiting for the train along with their families.

The photo was taken at the Oshkosh depot on Broad St. Tuesday, October 13, 1942, about 8: 00 am.
