Description M1943 German Army pattern Greatcoat: field gray shoddy wool with high rayon content; double-breasted with twelve painted front buttons; deep fold down collar in same material; two front hand pockets with flaps; two extra slash pockets above with snap closure; deep turn-back cuffs; half belt in back with two buttons; and shoulder straps. Found inside pocket: 2 sword knots (I01.10.17.5), 1 sergeant's shoulder tab (I01.10.17.6), and 3 Wermacht collar tabs (I01.10.17.7).
