Description German Army pattern Greatcoat: field gray wool and rayon material; double-breasted with twelve painted front buttons; deep fold down collar in dark blue-green wool; two front hand pockets with flaps; deep turn-back cuffs; half belt in back with two buttons; and 1st Lieutenant's shoulder straps. A pass found in the pocket with identification to Joseph Wackerbauer, original in Archives.
