Description Model 1939 German Army Tunic: field gray wool; four front patch pockets with flaps and buttons; five painted metal buttons on front; cotton lining; shoulder boards for Lieutenant rank and Regiment "HV" in Wermacht, or Army eagle insignia patch on left breast.

Nazi military item removed from the German chancellery at the time that the advance wave of U. S. forces entered Berlin; brought home by Raymond Godschalx.
