Description Shirt, Cotton, Khaki: fully opening shirt with seven buttons down the front, two breast pockets with flaps and plastic buttons, split cuffs with plastic buttons. This style cotton shirt was adopted by the U.S. Army in 1937 for summer wear. It was standard issue to all soldiers in the U.S. Army.
