Description WAVES Enlisted Service Uniform: blue wool jacket; padded shoulders; blue plastic navy buttons on front; rounded fold-down collar and lapels; white anchor and light blue propeller insignia embroidered on collar; lined with blue rayon; two hidden breast pockets on each side of lining; marked inside: "MADE AND SOLD UNDER/AUTHORITY OF U.S. NAVY/W.A.V.E.S." and "W.A.V.E.S/NAME Louise Mathwig/RATE/CONTRACT NO. 114." Skirt: blue wool material; six gores and flared at bottom; waistband; button and zipper at left side.
