Description Model 1942 Army Nurse Corps Uniform Coat: dark olive drab barathea wool, shade 51; roll collars and notched lapels; officer's "US" insignia on collars; nurse's gilt caduceus with black "N" on lapels; four gilt brass buttons on front; two flaps with buttons on false pockets on breast; two slash pockets near waist; shoulder loops with small buttons with lieutenant's bars; officer's mohair braid on cuffs; five gold lace service bars on lower left sleeve; American Defence ribbon on left breast.
