Officer's Winter Service Coat: dark shade olive drab wool elastique; four gilt brass officer's eagle buttons at front opening; fold down lapels with officer's "US" insignia and Quartermaster Corps insignia; four pleated patch pockets with pointed flaps and gilt buttons on front; shoulder loops with gilt eagle buttons and Colonel's eagle rank insignia and distinctive unit insignia; officer's mohair trim on cuffs; waist belt of the same material as the coat with gilt brass buckle; left shoulder has Army Service Forces patch; right shoulder has Korean Command Zone patch; left breast decorated with medals, unit patches, campaign ribbons, and purple heart. Campaign ribbons on left breast include: Legion of Merit; American Defence; American Theater; European Theater with star; World War II Victory; Army of Occupation; unidentified; and three Korean War ribbons, one with three stars. Used by Colonel Harold Lewis Hamilton.
