Description Nickeled brass Regens cigarette lighter with longitudinal designs on body. Top flips open when wheel is turned, causing wheel to spark against pyrite, igniting fluid soaked cotton wick. Bottom pulls out to reveal fuel compartment that is full of cotton and extra wick. This would be saturated with lighter fluid when necessary. Part of the body at bottom that supports pyrite igniter is broken and bent. Side reads: "REGENS" and bottom reads: "MADE IN U.S.A. PAT. NO. 1856140."

Used by either Adrian or Orville Hansen during World War II.
