Abstract Form letter sent by Leverette V. Pierce, possibly to his wife Edna. The letter is a joke, and is illustrative of the severe censorship that soldier's mail was put through.

After leaving where we were, we left for here. Not knowing we were coming from there to here, we couldn't tell if we would arrive here or not. Nevertheless, we are now here and not there. The Weather here is just as it usually is at this Season, but, of course, quite unlike the weather where we were before we came here from there. After leaving the place we were, by what we left By, we had a good trip. The people here are just like they look. The Whole thing is quite a new experience here because It is nothing like what it was where we were before We left there, even the grounds and surroundings Are different here than they were before we left the place that we came from. It's time to stop this absolutely too newsy letter, as I feel that I might have said entirely too much already and I don't want to give away too much valuable information,
Besides, the censor might even be a spy.
