Abstract Letter from Private Oscar W. Zimdars, 1825th Ordnance Supply and Maintenance Company, United States Army Air Force to Reverend John E. Elbert.

July 7, 1943
Army Air Base
Pueblo, Colorado
Dear Reverend Elbert:

I have been in an Ordnance Company ever since I have been in the army. At Pomona, California I was in the regular ground forces; I imagine connected with the infantry. In the last of March I was transferred to the Army Air Force and into my present company of which I now am a part of.
You have heard, I'm sure, of the saying "Keep 'em rolling" - well; keeping the supply trucks rolling is one of the main duties of my company. My particular job in the company is that of "Shop Clerk" - keeping records and seeing to the procurement of supplies & parts for the automotive shop section..

Your friend,
Oscar W. Zimdars P.F.C.
