Notes Candid outdoor view of Private First Class Armin C. Zweiger. He is wearing summer khaki uniform with leggings and a Medical Corps armband. He is standing in a street in front of tents at Camp Claiborne, TX.
Armin C. Zweiger was the son of Paul F. and Zweiger of Oshkosh, WI. In 1940 he was working as a pin setter at the Raulf Hotel bowling alley. By 1942 he was the assistant manager. He entered the service and was assigned to the Medical Detachment, 326th Glider Infantry, 82nd Airborne Division and served in the European Theater. He returned to Oshkosh following the war.
