Bust view of Private Edward C. Troxell. He is wearing a wool service coat with 32nd Division "Red Arrow" patch on the left shoulder and hat. Hand tinted. Edward C. Troxell was born in Oshkosh, WI, the son of Frank B. and Mary Troxell. He enlisted in the Service Company, 127th Infantry, 32nd Division, Wisconsin National Guard prior to 1939. He was called to active duty in October 1940. He fought in the Pacific at Buna, Gona Mission, and Wau in New Guinea and in the Philippines. He returned to Oshkosh following the war. |
