Notes Bust view image of Eileen E. Kirsch. She is wearing a khaki service coat with Private First Class chevrons, an Army Service Forces patch on her left shoulder, and cap with insignia.
Eileen E. Kirsch was the daughter of Wallace J. and Elizabeth M. Kirsch of Oshkosh. In 1942 she was a clerk at Beerntsen Confectionery and later joined the Women's Army Corps during World War II and was stationed at Camp Shank, NY. She had three brothers who served in the Army during World War II. Ralph Kirsch was killed in the Pacific theater.
