Glen VanVleit, Jr. was married to Delores Wolf, a former resident of Oshkosh, WI. He was a P-51 "Mustang" pilot and was shot down and killed on June 6, 1943 over Sicily during the invasion of the island by American troops. Delores and her mother Ann Wolf were living in Oklahoma City at the time.
