Image taken on the stage of the Old Masonic Hall in Oshkosh, showing a group of actors in a theatrical production during World War I. The theme is patriotic with the actors dressed as: Liberty; Abraham Lincoln; George Washington; the Spirit of '76; Uncle Sam; Pocahontas; Betsey Ross; a Red Cross nurse; a sailor; two soldiers; and others. Two children hold flags in the center, and a woman at left holds a piece of sheet music titled, "Defenders of the Flag." Possibly a production to raise money for War Bonds or other activities. |
