Description 
Note from Sergeant William C. Bennett to Jessica Ann Davis. "This pin (safety first) was carried by Sgt. William C. Bennett, Co. C, 1st US Engineers, from the Swiss border to the North Sea. It has been stained by waters of the Somme, Aisne Marne, Muese, Mosselle [rivers] and it kept him safely. Presented to Miss Jessica Davis, Dec. 9th, 1918. May it keep her safely through all the struggles of life."
