Description Model 1910 Meat Can and Utensils: aluminum oval shaped pan with collapsable steel handle; oval shaped lid or bread plate with rivetted ring; tinned steel and aluminum fork, knife, and spoon. Pan is marked on bottom "Lt. EDW. W. ZIEBELL/S20--F.A./U.S.A." and scratched on bottom "J.A.J."

Edward William Ziebell was a clerk at Diamond Match Company in Oshkosh in 1916. In World War I he became a 2nd Lieutenant in the 320th Field Artillery Regiment, 82nd "All American" Division.
