Notes Candid outdoor image by Sergeant John Matschi. The image shows a group of Doughboys with wagon pulled by cows in the street of a French village. A boy wearing a military cap , possibly their mascot, is posed in front. The soldiers wear gas mask bags, rubber boots, caps and helmets. These are probably members of Company C, 150th Machine Gun Battalion, 42nd "Rainbow" Division.
