Outdoor image of of a group of Soldiers with Range Finder. Three are observing while one is operating a mechanism on a tripod. William Pechmann was born June 20, 1894, the son of Jordan Pechmann. He enlisted in Company F, 2nd Wisconsin National Guard on March 1, 1914. He was assigned to Company C, 150th Machine Gun Battalion on Augst 9, 1917. He was promoted to corporal on August 15, 1917. He was appointed Sergeant on September 26, 1918. He was killed in action on October 22, 1918 from severe shrapnel wounds during the Meuse-Argonne Campaign. |
