Letter from Otto Bernanrd Sells, Company B, 127th Infantry, 32nd Division to his parents in Oshkosh, WI. April 1, 1918 France Dear Folks & all, Just a few lines to let you know I'm in the finest of health. Hoping it will find you all the same. We sure are having our rainy season. Hasn't cleared up so far & this is four thirty in the afternoon. I took a swell bath & changed into a clean outfit. Mail is in but couldn't find which barracks it is in. In spite of a steady down pour of rain yesterday afternoon crowds of people were out to our camp. It sure is fun trying to make them learn our language & I suppose the same to them. I rec'd a letter from my Pal. He is Walter Herzog the one who married the Nimmer girl. That's the only one I can make out he lives on 920 Oregon St. I also rec'd. three from you March 11-12-14 sure glad to get them. I've a lot of writing to do today & will not have time to morrow. Well news is scarse so will close with Love. Your Son, Corp. O.B.S. P.S. Regards to all & Best of luck.
