Description Sam Browne Belt: Officers brown leather belt; brass buckle; brass hardware for pistol and sword; leather shoulder strap with adjustable buckle and attached to brass rings on belt.

John M. Scantleton served as a surgeon in the Medical Corps of the 128th Infantry, 32nd Division, during World War I. He was awarded the Croix de Guerre Medal by the French Government.
