Description Officer's Leggings: pair of leather strips shaped to fit the calf of the leg; open from top to bottom; leather strap with buckle at top; long spiral leather strap which buckles at bottom.

John M. Scantleton served as a surgeon in the Medical Corps of the 128th Infantry, 32nd Division, during World War I. He was awarded the Croix de Guerre Medal by the French Government.
