GRUNEWALD CO./EVANSTON, ILL./CONTRACT NO. 2143-C APRIL 20, 1918/SPECIFICATION No. 1286/Chicago Depot U.S.A./INSPECTOR___/DATE___/U.S./ARMY Walter A. Rumbarger served as a Wagoner in the 107th Train Headquarters, 32nd Division, during World War I. Enlisted April 26, 1918 at Dayton, Ohio, when he was 23 years old. He was involved in battles of: West of the Meuse River Sept. 26 to Oct. 2, 1918, Bois de la Grandemontaigne Oct. 4 to 30, 1918, East of Meuse Nov. 9 and 10, 1918.
