| Description |
Pattern 1883 Enlisted Foot Trousers: medium blue wool construction; two front interior cotton pockets; cotton waist lining; cotton lining inside cuffs; black japanned tinned buttons on fly and suspender buttons on waist: reinforced at crotch with tan cotton.
Possibly used by Gustave Pahlow, Company F, 2nd Wisconsin National Guard during the Spanish-American War. In 1898 Gustave worked for the Casket Hardware Company in Oshkosh. He was the only person with this last name to serve during the war. |
