Description Pattern 1883 Fatigue Blouse: dark blue wool body with fold-down collar; five gilt brass eagle buttons on front; three gilt eagle buttons on each cuff; black cotton lining in body and white cotton lining in sleeves.

Possibly used by Gustave Pahlow, Company F, 2nd Wisconsin National Guard during the Spanish-American War. In 1898 Gustave worked for the Casket Hardware Company in Oshkosh. He was the only person with this last name to serve during the war.
