Description Pattern 1887 officer's uniform trousers: wool construction with interior cotton front pockets and interior waistband: black japanned buttons on fly and suspender buttons at waist. 1 1/2" white linen webbing stripes on outer seam (infantry officers).

Used by 2nd Lieutenant, George O. Sanders, Company B, 2nd Wisconsin National Guard during the Spanish-American War.
