Description Large embroidered silk banner commemorating Admiral Dewy's victory at the Battle of Manila Bay in the Philippines: black fabric body with embroidery of cotton and metallic threads, eagle on top with six US flags below in shape of shield; painting in center of battle with ships on fire; bottom has embroidered anchor, two cannons, and stack cannonballs; blue ribbon at very bottom with "E PLURIBUS UNUM"; and gold silk fringe sewn to bottom edge.
