Description Pattern 1883 Enlisted Foot Trousers: medium blue wool construction; two front interior cotton pockets; cotton waist lining; black japanned tinned buttons on fly and suspender buttons on waist; emerald green tape with white silk chain stitching on borders applied to outer seam (Medical Corps). Trousers match Fatigue Blouse/Coat Object ID #2205-15.

Used by 1st Class Hospital Steward Frank Callies, Company B, 2nd Wisconsin National Guard during the Spanish-American War.
