| Description |
Meat Can or mess kit; tinned iron oval shaped frying pan with collapsable iron handle; tinned iron oval shaped bread plate with circular ring soldered to one end, which nestles into the frying pan; painted with gold colored paint at a later date. Scratched into inside of plate, and painted in black on outside of plate: "EM".
Used by Private Ernst Mueller, Company F, 2nd Wisconsin National Guard in Puerto Rico during the Spanish American War. |
