Description Pattern 1883 Unlined Fatigue Blouse: dark blue wool body with fold-down collar; five gilt brass eagle buttons on front; three gilt eagle buttons on each cuff; and no interior lining.

Used by Private Ernst Mueller, Company F, 2nd Wisconsin National Guard during the Spanish-American War. Ernst Mueller is listed on the rosters of Company F when they left for service during the war. In 1895 he is listed as a laborer living on 4th Avenue.
