Full outdoor view of thre the Field & Staff, 2nd Wisconsin National Guard in Coamo, Puerto Rico. They are sitting and standing in three rows wearing a mixed assortment of campaign uniforms: canvas trousers; sky-blue wool trousers; canvas tunics, fatigue blouses, and pull-over shirts; campaign hats; cork sun helmets and staw hats. Thre Puerto Rican servants are seated at far right. The tents of the officers are in the background. Sergeant John Laabs reclines in the front row center; right behind him standing in a white shirt is Captain U. G. Carl; in the back row far left (head visible) is Captain Henry Tyriver. All were men from Oshkosh. |
