Notes Outdoor view of the Brotherton Cabin, Chicamauga National Battlefield Park. The cabin is located on the Rossville Road and was the scene of heavy fighting during the battle of September 19, 1863. A woman with two children stands in the cabin door, while several soldiers tour the grounds. A split rail fence borders the road. The camp of the 2nd Wisconsin National Guard was located near here on the actual Civil War Battlefield. Taken at Camp Thomas, Chicamauga, GA prior to their departure in July 1898.
