Full outdoor view of Company B, 2nd Wisconsin at Camp Harvey, near Milwaukee, WI. The men are lined up in two ranks with the first rank kneeling. All wear fatigue uniforms with either P1873 forage caps or campaign hats; all are hiolding .45-70 Sprigfield Rifles. The three officers are in front, L to R: Lt. Henry Tyriver; Captain Walter A. Marden; and Lt. George O. Sanders. The barracks or barns for companies 'C' and 'D' are in the background. Taken in May 1898 just prior to their departure to Camp Thomas, GA. |
