Description 
Corporal's chevron constructed of two sky-blue (infantry) worsted wool tapes sewn to a dark blue wool base. Worn by Corporal Harlan P. Hatch, Company C, 44th Wisconsin Volunteer Infantry. Harlan P. Hatch enlisted from Iola, Wisconsin on October 20, 1864 and was assigned as a corporal in Company C, 44th Wisconsin Volunteer Infantry. He mustered out on August 28, 1865. He is listed in the Wisconsin Veterans Census as living in Iola in 1885 and Tomahawk in 1895. He is not listed in 1905.
