Letter from Ai Rice, Company K, 11th Wisconsin Volunteer Infantry: Brashear City, La. February 15th Dear friend Johny, I received your letter today and was glad to hear from you. You said you had written to me several times, but this is the first word that I have received in two months. But it is quite a comfort to me in getting letters from you, an old friend as you are. Johny, you know that you are all the friend I have up there. Johny, I want you to let me know if Maggie Worden goes with any one or not. If she does, let me know. Tell all my friends that I am well. Tell them I send my love to them, and receive the same yourself, Johny. Can't think of any thing this for now. Ai Rice Write soon
