Notes Group photograph of two unidentified women standing next to a pedistal and a young man sitting in front. He is wearing a mounted service jacket and reenforced mounted trousers. He is probably Henry C. Davis or possibly James Davis. Both enlisted from Oshkosh in the 9th Wisconsin Battery in October 1861. James died of disease on July 19, 1862 in Fort Lyon, Colorado. Henry reenlisted as a veteran and was discharged on September 30, 1865. From Davis family album.
