Full seated view of an unidentified Civil War soldier wearing a mounted service jacket, reenforced mounted service trousers, a sword belt with cap box, a Colt revolver on a small stand, and holds a forage cap with waterproof cover on his lap. He also wears two silver badges on his jacket which are probably identification badges. Possibly a member of the 1st or 2nd Wisconsin Cavalry. From a family album with photgraphs back marked Fox Lake. |
