Letter from Charles Lewis Porlier to his father Louis B. Porlier during his service with Company B, 21st Regiment, Wisconsin Volunteer Infantry. Nashville, Tennessee Sept 20th 1863 My Dear father, You wanted to now how and where and when you could procure my testimony. You can procure my testimony any time you want it in Nashville. Father I want you to instruct me about it. Tell me all about it, so I can give my testimony as correct as I can Father I received your two letters but I have not time to answer both to day I will answer the other one tomorrow. Father, I am well as usual and I hope when these few lines reaches you will find you all well. Father; give my love to aunt Chiles, Augustin, and all the rest of the folks From you affectionate son, Charles L. Porlier
