Notes Bust view Carte de Viste of George H. Hardey, Company D, 5th Wisconsin Infantry, wearing jacket with buttons, white shirt, bow tie, and military vest with watch chain. Harvey enlisted from Berlin in Company D on June 27, 1861, reenlisted and transferred to Company C, Independent Batalion on September 13, 1864 and to Company C, 5th Wisconsin Infantry (Reorganized), promoted to Commissary Sergeant on November 1, 1864, and mustered out July 11, 1865.
