Full standing view of Ebenezer Austin Crane, Company D, 5th Wisconsin Infantry, wearing a enlistedman's frock coat, military vest, light trousers, and has forage cap on post with brass "5". Crane enlisted from Beaver Dam as a recruit on January 4, 1864, transferred to Company C, Independent Battalion on July 13, 1864 and Company C, 5th Wisconsin Infantry (reorganized in September 1864, and mustered out with the regiment on June 20, 1865. |
