White enlisted from Beaver Dam on April 22, 1861 as Corporal in Company D, promoted to Sergeant, promoted to 1st Lieutenant January 21, 1862, promoted to Captain November 8, 1863, died of wounds received at Battle of Spottsylvania, in hospital at Fredricksburg, Virginia on May 20, 1864. |
