Set of two bracelets, each of brown woven fine hair with gold-colored metal clasps, each clasp incised with script letter, left side: S or L and right side: C. Center of each bracelet has a metal bead. Early museum records claim used by Sarah C. Doty, wife of Territorial Governor Doty. Sarah Collins Doty married James Duane Doty in Buffalo, New York on April 14, 1823. She had three children James, Charles and Mary. She died on February 21, 1871 and is buried at Riverside Cemetery in the Fitzgerald lot (her daughter had married John Fitzgerald a prominent Oshkosh businessman).
