Notes	Studio image of a group of eleven young men in gymnastic costumes from the Oshkosh North Side Turner Hall. They are posed seated and standing wearing tights and canvas shoes. Several of the men are wearing fancy embroidered belts with large buckles. The Turnverein was a German athletic club popular in the United States. Oshkosh had two Turner organizations, one on the north side and another on the south side. One of the men is probably the donor's father, Oliver A. Huse. Oliver Huse was born in German February 12, 1854 and came to America when he was one year old with his parents. Shortly after they arrived they settled in Oshkosh and Huse lived the rest of his life there. He worked at the Morgan Company for 45 years. He was a member of the Mystic Workers and the Turners. He died on March 19, 1928 at the age of 74 and is buried in Riverside Cemetery.
