Prussian Passport from 1853 allowing Heinrich Kitz and his family to immigrate to America: "The signatory royal government/ reign certifies that it has been approved for the brickmaker Heinrich Kitz from Duisdorf in the district of Bonn on his request and because of his emigration to America with his wife Gertrud, née Vendel, and his children 1. Helena Kitz, 22 years old 2. Mathias Kitz, 19 years old 3. Franz Kitz, 18 years old 4. Maria Kitz, 13 years old the dismissal from the Prussian subject combine. This dismissal-document causes only for the persons mentioned in it and at the time of its surrendering the loss of the property/ quality as Prussian subject. Cologne, the 8th April 1853 Royal Prussian Government/ Reign Dismissal-document (this document is only to be handed over at the moment of departure)
