Bust view image of Reuben M. Scott. He wears a suit with overcoat and a tie. Reuben Scott married Sarah Bishop March 29, 1852 in Winnebago County. Reuben M. Scott was born February 10, 1827 in Clarencevill, Quebec Canada. He immigrated to the US when 18 years old and settled in Menasha in 1848. He invested in Real estate and owned the Star Flouring Mill and the National Hotel in Menasha. He married Elizabeth Hanks in Vermont in February 1861. He was a contractor and built the Wisconsin Central Railroad between Menasha and Stevens Point in 1871. He died July 5, 1890. |
