Three-quarter view of John & Abigail Seville. This is a photographer's copy made between 1864-1866 from an 1850's daguerreotype in the OPM collection, P2000.34.45. Mr. Seville is posed sitting next to his wife, he is wearing a dark colored suit with a very high collar, he is balding and clean shaven. Mrs. Seville wears a silk like wrap over her dress, a white daycap and has a open envelope and spectacles on her lap. The Sevilles' were immigrants from England that settled in Merrimack, Wisconsin. Their daughter Mary Seville, married Oshkosh businessman Robert Hellard. |
